Enable Virtualization (Hyper-V) in Windows Server 2016

Below we may get step-by-step screenshots,

Step 1 - Click on "Start" button.

Step 2 - Click on "Server Manager".

Step 3 - Click on "Add roles and features".

Step 4 - Click on "Next".

Step 5 - Keep selected "Role-based or feature-based installation" and click on "Next".

Step 6 - Select/Verify the server name and IP address, then click on "Next".

Step 7 - Locate "Hyper-V" and click the check box.

Step 8 - Click on "Add Features".

Step 9 - Confirm the Tick mark and click on "Next".

Step 10 - Click on "Next".

Step 11 - Click on "Next".

Step 12 - Select network adapter from the list.

Step 13 - Confirm the Tick mark and click on "Next".

Step 14 - For default settings, click on "Next" or for advance settings follow the instructions as mentioned on the wizard.

Step 15 - For default location, click on "Next" or browse for the customized location for Virtual Hard Disk files and Virtual machine configuration files.

Step 16 - Click on the check box "Restart the destination server automatically if required".

Step 17 - Click on "Yes".

Step 18 - Click on "Install".

Step 19 - Wait for some time until installation completes and system restarts.

Step 20 - Click on "Start" button.

Step 21 - Click on "Windows Administrative Tools".

Step 22 - Double click on "Hyper-V Manager" to open.

Step 23 - Now Hyper-V Manager is opened. Select the same host just under e.g. SKYLAKE or other server in the network by locating and clicking on "Connect to Server..." on the right pane.

Step 24 - On the right pane, actions can be performed, for examples - by clicking on "New" then "Virtual Machine.../Hard Disk.../Floppy Disk..." or "Import Virtual Machine" from other server or other actions as listed.
